Stefan Lessard composing IMAX score
Dave Matthews Band will contribute songs to “Grand Canyon Adventure,” an IMAX film about impending shortages of fresh water.
Stefan Lessard is also composing the score for “Grand Canyon Adventure,” which is scheduled to hit IMAX theaters in March. The documentary follows Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and anthropologist Wade Davis as they raft down the Colorado River.
“It’s our hope that this powerful IMAX Theatre film will inspire people to do what they can to help ensure that all the earth’s inhabitants have access to safe drinking water, both now and in the future,” Stefan said in a press release.
MacGillivray Freeman Films is producing “Grand Canyon Adventure.” The company’s previous environmental films have featured the music of George Harrison, Sting, Queen, the Moody Blues and Crosby, Stills and Nash.
