Tim Reynolds to join DMB at Obama rally?
Tim Reynolds has canceled his March 2 show in Indianapolis, Ind., leading to speculation he will join Dave Matthews Band for a Barack Obama rally at Ohio University on that date instead.
The Obama rally is still not confirmed, and details are sketchy, but there are a few likely scenarios:
- Tim will perform with DMB — something he hasn’t done since 2004.
- Tim or his band, TR3, will open for DMB.
- The concert will actually be Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, not a full-band show.

UPDATE: The Athens Messenger reports that, if the rally happens at all, it will feature a performance by Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds. They will only be a “small part” of the event, an Ohio University official told the newspaper.
