Dave Matthews Band returns to studio next week
Dave Matthews Band will go back into the studio next week to resume work on its new album.
Stefan Lessard wrote on Twitter this morning that he has one week left to surf before “going to make some music up in Seattle.” DMB started work on its new studio album in Seattle earlier this year before stopping to go on tour.
Dave Matthews recently said there is no timetable for finishing the album, and the band will try to include tracks laid down by the late LeRoi Moore in the final product. There has been no official word on what the band will do for other saxophone parts, but summer fill-in Jeff Coffin is reportedly in talks to join the band full time.
