New Dave Matthews Band CD still in preproduction
The new Dave Matthews Band album has a ways to go before it’s finished.
Dave Matthews and Stefan Lessard have both posted updates about the new DMB album on Twitter. Stefan posted last night that “the songs are real cool so far, each one very different.” But he also said that the band hasn’t begun tracking, which is when they record their actual parts for the album.
Meanwhile, Dave had this to say about the new DMB album: “All new music. I’m happy to say there are beautiful moments of LeRoi. I like it.”
It’s unclear what Dave means by “all new music.” He could mean that nothing on the album has been recorded in the studio before. It would be pretty surprising if songs like “Cornbread” and “#27″ that DMB has played live for the past two years were not on the album.
