Dave Matthews Band has made Rolling Stone’s list of top jam bands.

DMB came in ninth on the list, behind the Allman Brothers Band, the Grateful Dead and Phish, but ahead of Gov’t Mule, Jimi Hendrix and the String Cheese Incident. But before you go patting Rolling Stone on the back for finally recognizing DMB, know that this list came from the magazine’s readers, not its notoriously anti-DMB staff.
