Tim Reynolds discusses new DMB studio album

Tim Reynolds recently spoke with ColoradoDaily.com, giving a glimpse into the recording of the new Dave Matthews Band album.

Tim is playing guitar on a DMB studio album for the first time since 1998′s Before These Crowded Streets. Trumpet player Rashawn Ross, saxophonist Jeff Coffin and producer Rob Cavallo are all making their debuts a DMB studio album, and Tim said that new blood will set the new CD apart from others.

“This new record will be familiar sounding, but there will be some new twists,” he said. “I think we’ll bring a fresh burst of sound to the band. … [Cavallo's] really pushing the DMB and it’s already very interesting.”

The new DMB album is due April 14.
