Dave Matthews Band will headline the Optimus Alive!09 festival in Lisbon, Portugal on July 11.

The show will mark DMB’s second concert in Lisbon, following the wildly successful May 25, 2007 show that spawned Live Trax Vol. 10. That show featured an extremely rare double encore, as well as a guest appearance by Tom Morello.

The performance at Optimus Alive!09 raises some questions about the timing of a DMB summer tour in North America. The festival could fall during a break in such a tour, or DMB could be taking part of the summer to tour Europe.
