Dave Matthews Band debuts two new songs: ‘Why I Am’ and ‘Spaceman’
Two new Dave Matthews Band songs made their debuts at Tuesday’s Madison Square Garden concert.
DMB played “Why I Am” and “Spaceman” at the show. “Why I Am” turned out to be the song that appeared in a leaked studio video in February, and Dave Matthews said on stage that it was the late LeRoi Moore’s favorite from the upcoming DMB album, Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King. DMB also played “Funny the Way It Is,” which the band released as a single earlier that day. So here’s a video of that performance too:
