Acoustic version of Big Whiskey coming this fall?

An acoustic version of Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King by Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds is on the way, according to Tim Reynolds’ nephew.

Tim’s nephew, who uses the user name scottpr on the AntsMarching.org message boards, has written several posts about the new Dave and Tim album in the past few days. He said he’s not sure if the acoustic Big Whiskey CD will be a live or studio recording, but he said the release will coincide with some Dave and Tim concert dates later this year.

Dave and Tim have released two live albums, Live at Luther College and Live at Radio City Music Hall, but have never done a studio album.
