Dave Matthews will perform at the Farm Aid 2009 concert Oct. 4 in St. Louis.

Dave is on Farm Aid’s board of directors — along with founder Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp — and last played a solo set at the concert in 2006. (Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds performed in 2007 and 2008.)

Farm Aid 2009 will take place at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater.
