Dave Matthews Band will play on the Ellen show Sept. 16.

DMB has never performed on Ellen before. The TV appearance is one of several upcoming for the band, including a Sept. 14 visit to Late Night with Conan O’Brien and the Oct. 3 season premiere of Austin City Limits. In addition, Tavis Smiley will interview Dave Matthews on his Sept. 14 show.
