Dave Matthews plays at Grammy Museum

The Dave Matthews and Rob Cavallo conversation at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles last night featured a surprise acoustic performance.

Dave busted out his guitar to play “Baby Blue,” “Dive In” and “Seven” and talk about the process of writing those songs, according to Spinner.

He and Cavallo, who produced Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King, spoke with Grammy Museum executive director Robert Santelli for an hour in front of a crowd of 200. The event, A Conversation with Dave Matthews and Rob Cavallo, was a fundraiser for the Grammy Museum and the Grammy Foundation.
