Dave Matthews Band is ESPN’s official band of college football coverage, according to Awful Announcing.

ESPN and ABC will use 10 DMB songs — including seven from Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King — during college football games and pre- and post-game shows all season long. The networks will also air montages of game highlights and DMB concert performances.

ESPN and ABC have often used DMB music when cutting to and returning from commercial breaks in college football coverage, but this announcement marks the first formal partnership between the networks and the band.
