Robert Randolph

Randolph played pedal steel guitar with DMB on nine songs during the 2009 summer tour. Highlights included his surprise appearance in the encore at the Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco, where he joined DMB on the cover songs “All Along the Watchtower” and “Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin),” and his improv jams on the covers “Cissy Strut” and “I Got a Woman/Gold Digger.”

There are no honorable mentions in this category, because Randolph so dominated the voting among our readers.
