'You and Me' music video director discusses shoot

The "You and Me" music video director, Michael Baldwin, discusses the video shoot in a brief interview on Promo News.

Baldwin says it took a whole day just to choose who would appear in the "You and Me" music video, because so many Dave Matthews Band fans responded to the casting calls. (The video, if you haven't seen it yet, features everyday people playing the song alongside the DMB members in a large, empty room.)

"Everyone had spent a few days learning their parts of the song and when they first played along, it was brilliant," Baldwin says in the interview. "They were louder than the playback.”

"You and Me" was the first U.S.-commissioned video for Baldwin, who is British and has previously directed videos for Natalie Imbruglia and Travis.
