June 13: Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
The second night of the two-night stand at SPAC was one to remember, featuring the tour debuts of the classics "Typical Situation," "Lie in Our Graves," "The Stone" and "The Song That Jane Likes." The rarities-filled encore capped the show with a brief Dave Matthews solo version of "#40," followed by "Granny," "Water Into Wine," "All Along the Watchtower" (with the "Stairway to Heaven" jam) and finally "Halloween." Other highlights included a "Shake Me Like a Monkey" opener and the first-ever performance of "Dive In."
Honorable mention goes to the Alpine Valley show, which featured a rare "Proudest Monkey" opener, the return of "You Never Know" and a unique encore of "Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)" and "Halloween."
