By the People; For the People soundtrack features 'The Dreaming Tree'

The By the People; For the People soundtrack, inspired by a new HBO documentary about President Barack Obama's election, features a Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds version of "The Dreaming Tree."

The By the People; For the People soundtrack (the movie is actually called "By the People: The Election of Barack Obama") includes the Oct. 26, 2008 version of "The Dreaming Tree," which Dave and Tim played during their "Last Chance for Change" concert at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va.

Other highlights on the By the People; For the People soundtrack include a John Mayer and Ben Harper duet on "Waiting on the World to Change," Bruce Springsteen's take on "This Land is Your Land" and a cover of U2's "City of Blinding Lights" by Dashboard Confessional.

The By the People; for the People soundtrack is available only on iTunes.
