Live Trax Vol. 17 captures Dave Matthews Band’s July 6, 1997 concert in Mountain View, Calif.

Live Trax Vol. 17 marks the first official release of a DMB concert from 1997, which is considered one of DMB’s best touring years. The two-disc album, recorded at Shoreline Amphitheatre, also features the first official releases of “For the Beauty of Wynona,” a Daniel Lanois cover, and “Leave Me Praying,” an early version of “Don’t Drink the Water.”

There are also two special guests on Live Trax Vol. 17: Los Lobos’ Steve Berlin on sax and David Hidalgo on electric guitar. Both play on “Lie in Our Graves” and “For the Beauty of Wynona,” and Berlin also plays on “Jimi Thing.”
