Dave Matthews talks politics with Jane Goodall

Dave Matthews discussed politics with the media before his May 20 concert with Tim Reynolds, A Benefit for the Jane Goodall Institute, in Washington, D.C.

In this video from CBS News, Dave said “politicians are a disappointment” because they refuse to stand up to banks and big corporations. He also said he wouldn’t become a politician because he has “a closet so full of skeletons.”

“I’d hate to have that sort of exposure to the public — and have to answer for it,” he said.

Well the people are the ones that need to stand up to the government. They don't reaalize how much can be fixed in one day. Faulty budgets, and miss spent military money. Focus on the AMERICA our four fathers founded. A foundation of peace and liberty is a strong foundation to live by. I like Dave have closet full of skeletons that I have released. http://hanilol.wordpress.com/ Ignorance to our independence will not get america on track. Independence is key-demand the right of full independence take over, if the donkeys and elephants don't want to register independentally then they should leave their seat to someone happy to be independent. It takes a day to gather votes, and there is so many ways now adays to gather votes electronically, physically, and even by phone or text…common sense can raise this country up.
