DMB 2010 summer tour ends with Last Stop at Wrigley

The Dave Matthews Band 2010 summer tour ended last night with the second of two shows at Chicago’s Wrigley Field.

The concert ended appropriately with the crowd favorite “The Last Stop” — the first time DMB had closed a show with that song since Dec. 8, 1998 in Worcester, Massachusetts (released as Live Trax Vol. 1). The encore also featured “Christmas Song,” which had not been played at a DMB concert since 2005.

Other highlights included mid-set performances of “Tripping Billies” and “Stay,” plus a partial version of the 2004 rarity “Good Good Time.”

Last night marked the last DMB summer tour date until 2012, because the band is taking 2011 off from touring. But there are more DMB tour dates this year: four October dates in South America, plus a three-week fall tour on the East Coast.
