Dave Matthews will appear at a live event showcasing a new Jane Goodall documentary.

The documentary, “Jane’s Journey,” will show in movie theaters across the country Sept. 27, along with a live question-and-answer telecast with Goodall, the famed chimpanzee expert. Dave will be part of the telecast, “to presumably perform and to discuss his time in the field with Goodall,” according to the Mother Nature Network.

The Jane Goodall documentary event will not mark the first time she and Dave have worked together. Dave and Tim Reynolds performed a Jane Goodall benefit concert in 2010; as part of that event, Dave and Goodall also discussed politics and the environment with the media.
