DMB plays ‘Kashmir’ by Led Zeppelin at The Gorge
Dave Matthews Band covered Led Zeppelin’s “Kashmir” during last night’s concert at The Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington.
Tim Reynolds had performed “Kashmir” solo at concerts with Dave Matthews dating back to 2007 — one such version appears on the Dave and Tim album Live in Las Vegas — but this performance was the first by the full Dave Matthews Band. Check out this video of DMB playing “Kashmir” at The Gorge:
Last night’s show marked the end of DMB’s annual Labor Day weekend three-night stand at The Gorge. Other highlights of the weekend included Friday’s four-song encore (“Sister,” “Ants Marching,” “Halloween,” “Drunken Soldier”) and the first full performance of “#34″ since 2007 on Saturday.
DMBs’s summer tour continues Wednesday in Stateline, Nevada.
