The Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir performed with Dave Matthews Band at last night’s concert.
Weir joined DMB on a 13-minute version of Daniel Lanois’ “The Maker” during the show in Berkeley, California. It was the first time Weir had ever guested at a DMB concert, but he did perform with Dave Matthews and Friends in 2006 and Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds in 1999.
The second of two DMB concerts in Berkeley also featured the tour debuts of “The Stone,” which opened the show, and “Can’t Stop.”

The DMB tour resumes Friday with three final concerts at The Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington before the band takes 2017 off from touring.
