Mayor Riley just can't leave well enough alone. I mean, it's not enough that the damn ballpark housing the concert is named after him. But, he's gotta get all the beer sales while having a "police state" in the parking lot with "his" city's officers enforcing petty laws. Have you heard the cliche, "say it ain't so, Joe!!"?

I hope that Charleston residents feel much safer tomorrow knowing that officers will be forced to watch and make sure that no adults are grilling burgers or drinking beer before they enter a concert that costs nearly $100/person.

Maybe that way the real criminals can commit a rape, assault their wives, sell some drugs, commit arson, or just kill someone. I'm at ease to know that big brother is seeing the big picture.

And Charleston wonders why they have so many problems with drunk driving. All this ban is going to do is result in fans drinking and cooking out at home and then driving intoxicated to the concert. Way to go, Chief Mullen.
