Dave Matthews is visiting Cuba, where he spoke to NBC News about the country’s improving relations with the United States.
Dave is part of the U.S. Presidential Committee on the Arts and Humanities, which is spending four days this week in the Communist island nation. Other celebrities involved include Usher, Smokey Robinson and actor Kal Penn.
“There’s a lot that the world can get from this country,” Dave said. “A lot of arts, creativity and talent and knowledge, medicine, new ideas. And then Cuba can gain the advantage of being compensated for what it has to offer.”
